General Accountant

Responsibilities for the position include, but are not limited to the following:

• Accurate and timely reporting of working capital, accounts receivable and supporting documentation
• Review and approve weekly cheque runs
• Review cash application and accounts payable invoices for accuracy and completeness and post to the general ledger
• Account and bank reconciliations
• Preparation of Financial Statements
• Assist with administrative tasks and projects as required
• Preparation of month-end and year-end accruals


-Minimum 2-5 years of general accounting and bookkeeping experience is required.
-Advanced Excel and computer literacy is a must
-Ability to adapt and multi-task
-Positive and low maintenance team player
-Willingness to perform tasks that are both complex and basic in nature
