Joint Venture Accountant

Responsibilities include but are not limited to;

1. Collect, review, analyze and enter non operated Joint Venture accounting data for a selected group of partners.

2. Review and respond to partner queries as they relate to operated joint interest billings;

3. Liaise with internal staff where necessary to establish steps to remediate disputed joint venture items;

4. Prepare adjusting or correcting entries as a result of analysis and consultation;

5. Communicate changes to Joint Interest Accounting or other staff where necessary to correct allocations, coding, working interest adjustments or other changes to stop recurring problems from continuing;

6. On a monthly basis analyze related A/R sub ledgers for assigned vendors; maintain the A/R reconciliation database by entering a description of steps taken to collect outstanding amounts and the contact made;

7. Work on special projects with Team Lead.
