COMPENSATION ANALYST – 12 Month Contract
The Compensation Analyst will provide analytical support to HR Advisors regarding compensation
management, including preparing salary work ups, analyzing compensation changes, assisting with the
administration of annual compensation planning, and maintaining compensation data.

Conduct job evaluations and maintain job classification reference material.
Assist in the analysis of base and variable compensation.
Develop and deliver management reporting.
Provide guidance on the interpretation of compensation program guidelines.
Assist in the development of communications and training material to increase understanding and
awareness of compensation program.
Skills, Knowledge & Abilities
Solid technical knowledge of compensation.
Strong attention to detail with excellent organization skills.
Strong analytical skills; ability to analyze and interpret data and develop solutions.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Good consultative skills with an ability to effectively interact with internal and external business
Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite; Advanced excel skills including ability to write complex
formulas and work with pivot tables.
Ability to work with and maintain confidential information.
Experience using market pricing software
Education & Experience
Bachelor's degree or equivalent. Professional designation CCP (Certified Compensation
Minimum five years experience in compensation, preferably in the Oil and Gas industry
Experience with Mercer compensation survey would be an asset
