Payroll Administrator - Must have System Pason
Our Client is a Canadian owned company dedicated to providing best and safest in Drilling and Coring technology. They are looking for a talented Payroll Administer who desires to work in a fast-paced team environment in a fast growing company.
The size, scope and importance of There business require us to be the best at what we do. But, There only as successful as the people that keep us running day to day. Reporting to the CFO, They are looking for a self-starter with a strong Payroll background.
DUTIES OF POSITION:
-Organize the bi-weekly and semi-monthly payroll for various locations
-Produce reports and process adjustments
-Prepare record of employments and termination documents
-Process new hires, status changes, benefits and salary increments
-Handle payroll queries
-Prepare year-end filing requirements including T4s and WCB
-Experience with multi Provincial payroll processing is required
-Employee Benefits Administration
-Administration of Employee Stock Purchase Plan
-Self-starter and energetic with initiative
-Ability to meet strict processing deadlines with payroll while working independently in a detail oriented, confidential work environment
-Strong attention to detail and exceptional follow-up skills
-Writes and speaks clearly
-Strong team and customer service orientation with ability to work in a fast paced environment
-Demonstrates technical competence with Microsoft Office, Simply Accounting and other payroll software
-Accounting experience would be considered an asset. Possibly some accounting assistance as required.
-Any other duties as required.
-Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
-3 to 5 years experience in payroll administration
-High degree of organization, planning, and multi-tasking skills
-Patience and high level of detail.
-Knowledge of Pason would be an asset
